A Whiskey Sour Recipe for Everybody

Ingredients You’ll Need – 2 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye) – ¾ oz fresh lemon juice – ½ oz simple syrup (or honey for a natural twist) – Ice cubes – Lemon slice or cherry for garnish

How to Make It 1. Shake the Ingredients – In a cocktail shaker, combine whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using).

Dry Shake (Optional) – If using egg white, shake first without ice for 15 seconds to create a frothy texture.

Add Ice & Shake Again – Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for another 15 seconds.

Strain & Serve – Strain into a rocks glass over ice or serve straight up in a coupe glass.

1. Garnish & Enjoy – Top with a lemon slice or cherry.
